How to store ghee (and why it solidifies)

Sample article for layout only. Replace with real editorial before launch.

Keep the jar closed and away from light. Ghee is stable and keeps for months at room temperature; it does not need a refrigerator.

Why it turns solid in winter

Ghee firms up in the cold and loosens in warmth. Both directions are normal. Set the jar in warm water for a few minutes if you need it pourable.

What spoils it

Water and crumbs. Always use a dry spoon, and never pour unused ghee back into the jar.
